Private places deserve careful handling
A walking route can reveal a home, school, or regular journey. Pauserby collects only what is needed to generate the review and does not require an account.

What is sent
Place searches and selected coordinates are sent to Pauserby’s server and to OneMap, the routing provider, to find a place and generate a walking route. External source links take you to third-party websites with their own privacy practices.
What is not kept by default
Pauserby does not save route searches to an account or public history. The current route may remain in this browser tab for recovery, then is cleared when the tab closes. Server operational logs exclude route request bodies and search terms.
Measurement without route details
Analytics never receive raw address text, place names, postal codes, coordinates, or route geometry. Route-review pages do not use session replay. Coarse counts and distance bands may be used to understand whether the beta works. Measurement events are rejected unless every property is on Pauserby’s small allowlist.
You can clear a generated route at any time. Pauserby does not currently provide route sharing, saved routes, accounts, or route alerts.
