Pauserby helps parents inspect source-linked pedestrian reports and current LTA traffic incidents around a walking route used for an independent journey. It shows what the available evidence can support, along with its limits.

Start with the journey
Parents usually care about a specific trip: home to school, a station to an activity, or another regular walk. Route Review starts with those two places, generates one walking route, then shows the evidence Pauserby can defensibly relate to it. It does not compare alternative routes or turn that evidence into a safety score.
Two evidence sources, kept separate
The pedestrian archive is assembled from public police and news reports. Each case keeps its source trail and is mapped only as precisely as the published evidence allows. The archive is incomplete, so missing cases cannot be treated as proof that nothing happened.
Current traffic context comes from LTA’s Traffic Incidents feed. It can show accidents currently reported near a route, but the feed does not establish severity, casualties, or pedestrian involvement. Pauserby keeps this current source separate from the pedestrian archive.
The supporting maps still have a job
Live Incidents provides a standalone view of accidents currently reported by LTA and incidents this service observed during its own collection history. The Pedestrian Archive lets people browse the complete researched set, including reports that cannot be placed defensibly on a map. Both views support Route Review without being combined into one risk signal.
What Pauserby cannot establish
Pauserby cannot tell you whether a route is safe, provide a complete accident history, predict what will happen on a journey, or replace the judgement needed when checking a route in person. Evidence near a route also does not prove that an incident happened on that route.
No matching evidence means only that the available sources did not return a match under Pauserby’s documented rules.
